Everyone's favorite mathematical constant, Pi (π) refers to the ratio of a circle's circumference in relation to its diameter. 

Staying constant at approximately 3.14159 for circles of any size, Pi is an irrational and transcendental number - meaning it continues infinitely without repetition or pattern.

This reliably precise digit elicits excitement throughout the globe, and Pi Day is celebrated on March 3rd (3/14) to honor its circular perfection.
