Laura Lee Verlinde, of HighPointe Academy in Thornton, Colorado, a devoted supporter and client of Bulk Bookstore and its business, has ordered books from Bulk Bookstore to use as graduation gifts for her preschool class, as well as to keep her school library stocked with the classics!
All in the Family
What we love so much about HighPointe Academy is that this is a family-run school, with all family members playing a key role in keeping true to the school’s mission of "uniting education with God’s teachings". Miss Verlinde’s son Adam, is the school administrator, his wife Jordan, the office manager, and Miss Verlinde and her husband the proud owners of this loving school since 2015.
As a small business ourselves, we at Bulk Bookstore are proud to serve HighPointe Academy and are happy to work with the Verlinde family to ensure they get the best prices on the bulk books they need for their programs!
A Mission Through Literature
HighPointe Academy has adopted the A Beka Book Curriculum, a thoroughly Christian, traditional program that emphasizes biblical character building through their rigorous Pre K-12 textbooks. The most rewarding part of her job, Miss Verlinde tells us, is getting connected with the children and their families, coupled with the ability to include God in their teachings.
HighPointe Academy not only orders age-appropriate material that teaches Christian values from Bulk Bookstore, they have committed to the classics, placing bulk book orders for:
Why Bulk Bookstore?
“We gave them to our graduates from our Pre-K and Kindergarten program and included a letter to the student/parents asking that every year of school, they have the child's teacher sign the book so when they graduate from high school, they can look back and read all the encouraging words and thoughts that their teachers have written about them through the years. Looking forward to ordering from you again in the future....and for next year's graduation!”
What a wonderful, meaningful, and heart-warming idea. Thanks, Miss Verlinde!
