The people of Torquay have learned of the atrocities committed by John Barton, editor of the local newspaper. The horrible stories that are told about him, and that not even his newspaper has been able to silence, have reached everyone's ears.
EVERYTHING CONTINUES WITH HIS DEATH.
After several days testifying, Barton decides to go into hiding and have no contact with anyone. But soon his lifeless body appears at his home, totally beaten. This event will once again bring together reporter Mera and police director Harry Moore in the race to discover the secrets drowned in the past which will come to the surface in the present.
