Our May 2022 Book Giveaway Winners

Posted by Makena Martin, BBS Cares Ambassador on Jun 7th 2022

We’re kicking off summer with another round of exciting giveaways. Summer reading is crucial for ensuring that students retain the knowledge and skills learned during the previous school year. That is one of the many reasons why we keep our giveaways running all year long! We’re always so excited to help put books in the hands of children all over the United States.

Our May 2022 giveaway received hundreds of entries from schools, educators, and non-profits! We’re deeply gratified that you all continue to stay engaged with our giveaways. The prizes are a surprise each month, so please continue to enter for your chance to win a shopping spree, free books, and other fun gifts! This month, we were able to choose five non-profits who are doing outstanding work in their communities. Each non-profit received a $200 shopping spree at BulkBookstore.com to help support the literacy initiatives that have set forth in their communities. Please join us in congratulating our five wonderful winners.

As Bulk Bookstore's Cares Ambassador, I have the joyful job of representing the good we do through our social responsibility initiatives. Some of my favorite memories center around reading books with my family. From completing reading challenges at my local library to co-authoring several thrilling novels with my siblings, books hold a special place in my heart. Outside of the wonderful work we do as a company, I’m an avid steward of the environment and regularly volunteer for clean up efforts on our local trails and recreation areas.
