After her husband’s death (tycoon Matías Wagner, whom she married pregnant at fifteen), Val Valdés enters Surviving, the first reality show broadcasted in Spain, and turns national television upside down. After enamoring the entire country during the contest and coming out victorious, she builds a corporate empire and retires from the public eye until, several years later, she turns herself in to the police, guilty of murdering Dani Leis, a former classmate, in Santiago de Compostela.
