Together with your children, learn curious facts, including the tallest windmill in the United States, windmills with eight arms, and with sails hung on the arms to catch the wind. An elderly New England miller once had to be rescued while attaching sails because he forgot to set the brake and the arms started turning while he was on them. Middle grades–ages 8-12.
