Overview

Synopsis:
2121: The Battle for Survival Begins
The story is set in Great Britain in the year 2121, a century after a devastating plague wreaked havoc over the entire world, causing massive realignments in the geopolitical scene. The plague caused such damage to the economy of the world's nations that all of them ā€” small countries and global powers alike ā€” are forced to consolidate to survive. Not only that, but the resulting chaos has given rise to militia gangs bent on spreading anarchy throughout the land. As the story opens, we meet young Alec Brassington, something of a loner with a quaint attachment to his antique air pistol (ultimately a key element). He intends to study mechanical engineering at Manchester University. His plans are upended, however, when he is captured by the Renegade Lords. He is rescued by the Jacobin Warriors, their principal adversary led by Jermaine Baker and his second-in-command, Byron Cooke. There, Alec is captivated by both Jermaine and his attractive sister Lili, a feisty black girl.
From Jermaine, Alec learns of an almost unthinkable plot by the English President Blalock to put Greater Britain under the thumb of MegaRussia (now the combined blocs of what once was the USSR). At first skeptical but gradually won over by the charm of Jermaine, the bluntness of Byron, and the boldness of the attractive Lili, Alec becomes a willing participant in the fight to defeat the evil President Blalock. And when they learn that Blalock has accelerated his plan, they must get their hands on it. Alec, Jermaine and Byron break into 10 Downing Street ā€” Blalock's residence ā€” to find the plans.
The Jacobin Warriors now embark on a military campaign that is nothing less than civil war. The final battle is joined in London and though the rebels achieve victory, Blalock manages, with characteristic treachery, to capture Jermaine. It is up to Alec now to rescue his friend, Jermaine, and restore order to the country.
