From the beginning, Sheinbaum has led the polls both among supporters of Andrés Manuel López Obrador and within public opinion in general. However, this position has made her the target of attacks aimed at discrediting her trajectory, accusing her of depending entirely on a political leader. These attacks overlook her long-standing commitment to social and political causes since her youth, all while building a successful career as a scientist and academic. In a world of chameleon-like politicians, Sheinbaum stands out for her consistency and her dedication to social struggles and electoral battles that reshaped the political landscape of the country.
