The Fine Arts Museum-Hungarian National Gallery and the Janus Pannonius Museum in Pécs are celebrating the 170th anniversary of the birth of Kosztka Tivadar Csontváry with a joint exhibition. The exhibition, which features around 40 works and comprehensively presents his oeuvre, is a fitting tribute to one of the most original and well-known artists in the history of Hungarian painting. The exhibition, realized in cooperation between the Janus Pannonius Museum in Pécs and the Museum of Fine Arts in Budapest - Hungarian National Gallery, is accompanied by a bilingual, richly illustrated catalog.
