That traditional ideal could describe the life of Aurora: Now a senior citizen and with her children grown and gone, she would seem to have nothing to worry about except the well-being of her family and how soon to expect her first grandchild.
One day, however, her loved ones discover that Aurora has withdrawn seventy thousand euros from her account and spent it all, but she won’t say on what. Uncharacteristically, she refuses to answer her children’s questions. They can’t understand this attitude in a woman who has always been so transparent. Or so they thought, anyway…
