Overview
What would you do differently if you could see your own life clearly as it actually is?
Most of us build lives that work well enough. The career, the relationships, the daily routine: each choice and pattern that got us here quietly become the reason we cannot get anywhere else.
Exploration Necessary is a guide to breaking that pattern on purpose. Entrepreneur and executive coach Paul F. Austin, founder of Third Wave, has spent a decade helping people use psychedelics with intention — not as an escape from their lives, but to see those lives clearly enough to change them. This is a book about what becomes possible when you stop running the same loop.
Austin lays out the proven guidelines, safety measures, and protocols he has developed through years of coaching high performers, organized around his Matrix of Psychedelic Skills: Awareness; Self-Regulation; Motivation & Creative Orientation; Interpersonal Relationships; Collective Vision; and Resilience & Adaptability. It will help you decide whether the intentional use of psychedelics is a good fit for you — and, if it is, how to approach it responsibly.
Whether you are entirely new to psychedelics or already experienced and looking to go deeper, Exploration Necessary is your trusted and comprehensive guide. You will learn how psychedelics can improve your emotional and physiological well-being, strengthen your relationships, and sharpen your performance at work. And you will learn how to build a habit of exploration into your life — with or without the ongoing use of psychedelics.
