Overview
The firefighters needed a mascot. They couldn't find a dog; they didn't think a cat would enjoy the firehouse life; and fish -- just didn't seem right.
Luckily, one firefighter knew just where to find their new mascot -- on a farm! A little pig named Penny caught his eye. She was the runt of the litter, but wasn't too small to fit right in at the firehouse.
Penny soon became the star of the neighborhood, and continues to bring joy to the firefighters and their community. And Penny has a very special talent: she paints! Here is a happy, heartfelt story about fitting in where one belongs.
