From has lived with me my whole life. From came with my parents when they moved here from far away. They like to share Grandma’s favorite meals, play strange music and tell funny stories about where my parents grew up. Sometimes it can be kind of embarrassing to have a From. (And some kids have more than one!) When my friends come over, I try to hide them. But From understands a lot about my family that other people don’t — they’re like a secret portal to a faraway place.
