The artist’ s output draws on his personal repertoire of bands that share a romantic narrative of loneliness and a melancholy keynote. The same attitude toward life is reflected in Hildebrandt’ s work. The book offers insight into all periods of the artist’ s oeuvre and is rounded out by archival materials from Hildebrandt’ s studio, his project space Grzegorzki Shows, and the music label Grzegorzki Records that illustrate his creative process.
