Overview
This fold-out, high-contrast board book introduces babies to the joyful art of Alexander Girard while stimulating their developing senses
Hello, sun! Hello, love! Hello, baby! Baby’s tummy time becomes a delightful mini-museum visit with this stylish, double-sided accordion book featuring art by the iconic mid-century modern designer Alexander Girard.
Intentionally designed to grow with babies from birth to toddlerhood, Hello Sunshine! folds out into a freestanding art object, making it the perfect companion for tummy-time play by capturing babies’ attention while they build their neck, shoulder, and core strength. One side, intended for newborns, features bold, high-contast art in black and white that encourages visual tracking, while an integrated baby-safe mirror offers opportunities for self-discovery and play.
As babies grow into infants and their vision develops, simply flip the book over to reveal more of Girard’s art – now in vibrant color – and a charming world of shapes, patterns, and familiar objects that invite parents and caregivers to point, talk, and interact with their baby.
The perfect gift for baby showers and a beautiful addition to any modern nursery, this elegant and exceptionally designed tummy-time book offers an irresistible, baby-friendly introduction to visual art while supporting key stages of early visual, motor, and cognitive development.
A must-have for design-conscious, art-loving parents and caregivers, Hello Sunshine! Tummy Time with Alexander Girard combines developmental benefits, timeless design, and interactive fun in one joyful package.
