Amanda Lynn Raynofsky—or, as she’s better known to the readers of the Cozy Cove Courier, reporter Mandalynne Rayne—is innocent. At least that’s what she tells her mother, the town sheriff, as she’s put under house arrest for the murder of city clerk Sharon Burke. Amanda swears she didn’t do it, but the facts are incriminating: The city clerk is dead, and Amanda was found at the scene of the crime.
