Licenciada en Ciencias biológicas por la Universidad Complutense de Madrid, desde hace más de veinte años se dedica a la investigación de la indumentaria, vida cotidiana e higiene en la Edad Media y Moderna, estudios que comparte en su blog opusincertumhispanicus.blogspot.com. Ha publicado diversos artículos científicos de su especialidad y participado como ponente en congresos e impartido conferencias. La bordadora es su primera novela.

She has published several scientific papers on the subject and has been a lecturer and speaker at conferences. The Embroideress is her first novel.
