Elizabeth Shaw es una joven huérfana que lleva quince años huyendo de su pasado y trabajando como institutriz de niños y jovencitas de la alta sociedad de Buenos Aires. Elizabeth Shaw is a young orphan who has been fleeing her past for fifteen years and working as a governess for children and young women from the high society of Buenos Aires. When she finally decides to return to her small native town in the south of England, a last assignment keeps her in the Argentine capital: a family to which she is strongly attached requires her services.
Despite the fact that this supposes a delay in her plans, grateful for the help that the family gave her for years, Elizabeth decides to accept the job. However, she will soon realize that this is no ordinary task. She’ll have to work in Tomás Hunter’s house, an old love with a dark past, and she’ll have to take care of two children who will change her life forever.
