The Endless Conquest of Mexico is the ironic summary of Mexico’s sad history: an account of the humiliations, thefts, and looting suffered by a country that had the misfortune of enduring centuries of various foreign interventions, from the Conquest to the current implementation of unjust policies imposed by the global market.
This book, originally conceived as propaganda for engineer Heberto Castillo’s PMT, turned out to be an excellent critical compendium of our historical international relations.
The moral of the story could not be more grim: “The conquest of Mexico is endless and is not yet over.”
