Mafalda, along with Felipe, Susanita, Manolito, Miguelito, and Libertad, is a symbol of our society. A non-conformist, solidary, sensible kid that was born in 1964 as, according to what Quino said, “a child that tries to solve the dilemma of who the good guys and the bad guys are in this world.” From the beginning, she showed a great critical spirit, and ever since her first comic strips she used to build a chaise to psychoanalyze her doll. Nowadays, Mafalda still encourages us to think, run from prejudices, love, and dream of a better world, and we keep turning to her to understand ourselves, as well as the crazy world we live in. This special edition presents the eleven volumes of Mafalda’s comic strip collection in an anniversary box with metallic edges.
