WHY DID I WRITE THIS BOOKI wrote this book, truthfully, as I was hiring a first-time seller. I wanted to provide a go-to guide to help set her up for success. I also did not work in a physical office, so seeing each other daily and "managing" in the traditional sense was not an option. I'm not someone who loves to manage, or gets "a high" from running a team. Again, I'm purely driven by money and "managing" is not a direct indication of a higher income. Independent sellers often make more money than their bosses, especially if they're killer salespeople. I wrote this book because I needed to create a tool for this new hire. Something they could refer to, use as a checklist and realistically understand their role/purpose in the job. It proved to be a successful resource for her, and I then began to share it with a few mentors and friends in my business. It gained a ton of attention from sellers, clients, speakers, organizations, and even influencers/cookbook writer-friends not even in direct selling roles. The interest in the book expanded to those wanting to understand how to how to define their value, how to represent their own brand, and ultimately how to ask for money in their own endeavors. WHY THIS BOOK IS NEEDEDYou are "gold" and untouchable if you can drive revenue. You can take that skill, and literally do anything you want. Plus, with a recession rumored to hit soon, sales people are either the last to be let go, and they are certainly the first to get hired. Every company needs a high-performance sales team.In a time where all leading sales-forward books and resources are created by "hyped" and intense men, we need this book. Even men need this book. In a time where efficiency reigns supreme, and we don't have time to read long-winded self-help/memoirs, we need this book. In a time where the mentality is all about "getting shit done" and "getting after it," we need a resource that provides a reality check in the marketplace. This little black book is that tangible, how-to resource for taking action now vs. a bunch of puff.
