Overview
Luke's Gospel is often a favorite among Bible readers. It includes some of the most familiar and memorable stories about Jesus: the encounter with Zaccheus and the parables of the good Samaritan and the prodigal son, among others, appear only in Luke, and this gospel has a depth and richness that can be seen if we learn to read these stories in their context. Alan Thompson considers how the stories in Luke are placed together to help us discover the riches of the salvation we have in Jesus.
