A young woman in search of a new life in post-war Paris meets the most famous fashion designer of all time in her prime -the New Look is about to change the world. In 1947, Célestine, a provincial young woman with no family, arrives in Paris after breaking up with her fiancé. She settles in a loft with her best friend and goes to a job interview believing that she’ll be the next secretary to some boring man. What she doesn't yet know is that all her dreams are about to come true. Her new boss turns out to be designer Christian Dior, who finds inspiration for his groundbreaking New Look in Célestine's exquisite taste and demeanor.
