Overview
The first book in a funny and action-packed illustrated middle grade series about four kids who learn that when the school day ends, their boring old middle school comes to life—as a portal to a monster dimension! And it needs their help!
Thirteen-year-old Tunny Briggs hates his new school. Rohr Middle School is boring and filled with normies who just don't "get" Tunny. Sure, he has lime green hair and is OBSESSED with horror movies and Monster Mania comics, but at least those villains never make fun of Tunny the way his classmates do.
A fight lands Tunny in detention alongside three of his classmates—Seamus Tilda, Jasmyn Gonzalez, and Noa Barlow. Together, the group busts out of the joint and breaks into a janitor’s closet, where they find glowing hall passes inscribed with their names.
With just one touch, the kids are instantly transported to school that looks just like theirs . . . but is filled with literal MONSTERS.
As it turns out, Tunny and his classmates have been dropped into a full-on monster world called Bestia Mundus by their middle school, which is—get this—also a monster. And it needs their help.
There’s a rogue monster that’s escaped from Bestia Mundus, and unless this unlikely crew can find it and bring it home, there’ll be interdimensional chaos beyond their wildest nightmares.
