Overview
Book twelve in a cozy knitting mystery series, in which the sleuth reluctantly joins forces with a woman she cannot stand to clear her of a killing. Clean, humorous small town crime with prickly banter, lovable oddballs, pets and a touch of romance.
Karla Bell and I aren't friends. We don’t even like each other. But when she gets tangled up in a murder investigation, I agree to help her stitch together the clues and find the real killer.
I’m not doing it to help Karla. I’m doing it because if Karla goes down for a murder she didn’t commit, people I do care about will suffer, and the real killer will get away with murder.
Karla isn’t easy to work with. She needles me with backhanded compliments and snarky wisecracks until my patience is thinner than a strand of frayed yarn.
The faster we solve this murder, the faster Karla and I can go our separate ways. Can we work together to unravel the clues and uncover the killer before we kill each other?
If you like your cozy mysteries with a bit of humor, small town Canadian life, a hint of romance, a close circle of quirky, lovable characters that you wish you knew in real life, dogs and cats, and free knitting patterns, there's something in this series for you.
Clean read: no graphic violence, sex, or strong language.
