Odyssey, a graphic novel by the renowned Italian author Milo Manara. In this work, the master of comics reimagines Homer’s epic poem from an intimate and human perspective.
The story centers on Telemachus, the son of Ulysses, who has grown up in the shadow of his father’s absence. While the hero faces cyclopes, sirens, and gods on his eternal return to Ithaca, the young Telemachus hears of these exploits from the wise centaur Chiron.
Through this narrative, classical myths come to life like a mirror before Telemachus’ eyes, allowing the reader to rediscover the classic through an emotional and visually dazzling lens.
