In my research notebook I had a long list of unanswered questions about the universe and everything around us.

- Why do tree leaves change color in the fall?
- Did humans always have five fingers?
- Where does sea salt come from?
- Why do stars twinkle?
My dad and I started a field study: we went on a trip, we camped outside, we cooked together, we played with Legos, we watched movies… and we CHECKED OFF my entire list in the most entertaining way!
