A Peruvian writer in Buenos Aires remembers the story of an accident called family, an accident that prolongs itself several years as a poorly cauterized wound, a question mark that delves, challenges, and staves. Composed of finely spun memories in a time of intimacy, this novel reveals itself as a settling of scores between a woman and her parents: a filial narrative with which the story aims to dispel forgetfulness, scatter ashes, and reestablish boundaries.
