En este recetario te cuento cómo fueron para mí las primeras veces que cociné. Lo creas o no, yo también me equivoqué, batí el arroz y hasta salé la sopa.
No soy la top chef ni te traigo las recetas más elaboradas; al contrario, aquí encontrarás recetas sencillas, de esas que llenan la pancita y el corazón, con los platillos que nos han acompañado toda la vida. There will be days when you feel tired, confused, or even like going back to your parents’ house. And that’s okay, little one; growing up hurts a little, too. But I want you to know something: you’re not alone. Even if you don’t see me in your kitchen, I’m still here with you, cheering you on and looking out for you in my own way.
In this cookbook, I’ll tell you what my first times cooking were like. Believe it or not, I made mistakes too—I overcooked the rice and even oversalted the soup.
I’m not a top chef nor am I bringing you the most elaborate recipes; on the contrary, here you’ll find simple recipes, the kind that fill your belly and your heart, with the dishes that have been with us all our lives.
