Overview
Pecos, Texas, 1883. Janie Smith loves helping out on her family's ranch. With the help of her horse, Breezy, she can ride and rope with the best of the cowboys. So when a group of ranch hands from several neighboring outfits decide to hold a rodeo on the Fourth of July, Janie signs right up. But when Breezy gets injured, Janie's only other option is a giant Quarter Horse named Mesa. Janie's terrified of the big horse and wants to back out of the contest. But she's been bragging about how she's going to win. She'll have to either face her fears or be humiliated in front of the whole town.
