Abner Franklin has always been Betsy's first: her first crush, kiss, hookup…and heartbreak. Even though they agreed years ago to keep their non-relationship hidden, Betsy can't help but think of Abner. Especially when Abner's twin sister teases Betsy with glimpses of the small town and the soulful boy she left behind.
Fast-forward ten years and Betsy is in a bind! Her haute couture company needs a new designer and—to her utter shock—Abner's name pops up as their potential savior. Last she heard, he was dedicated to the family's Appalachian fiber farm, not designing works of art carried on the shoulders of New York socialites.
