Overview
- comprenderán cuán desesperadamente necesitan a Dios
More and more like Jesus...
In Becoming Like Jesus, Pastor Matt Chandler closely walks through the Beatitudes in Matthew 5 to reframe what being truly blessed by God means—guiding readers to cultivate gratitude, humility, integrity, and righteousness as they become more like Jesus and reflect Christ’s kingdom more fully.
As readers seek a closer and more intimate relationship with Christ, they will be transformed into a new way of living.
They will
- understand how desperately they need God
- mourn their sins and the sins of the world
- humbly serve the Lord instead of building their own kingdoms
- hunger and thirst for right relationships with God and others
- show mercy as they learn about Christ's mercy for them
- seek purity by living with integrity
- share the peace and good news of Jesus everywhere
- remember their heavenly reward when enduring persecution on earth
No matter where someone is in their journey, God has promised to shape those who love Him into someone who looks like Jesus.
