Overview
An exciting picture-book debut from an upcoming Mongolian artist and storyteller about what it is to create, as told through the character of the Dreamcrafter
The Dreamcrafter lives in a small dwelling in a quiet part of the city, where she crafts dreams for those who come to her seeking them. She makes good dreams and bad, and all who receive them are satisfied, for the dreams either make them happy, or they provide them with what they need in order to overcome something. But one morning, the Dreamcrafter awakes to find that all of the dreams have flown away! Now, she must embark on a journey to get them back.
Simply told, yet carrying a deep insight into life, this is a rich and textured story about art, the role it plays in our lives, and the solitude of those who make it.
