Overview
Walk the road of gold as you seek El Dorado in this supplement for The Silver Bayonet, featuring new soldiers, new foes, and a solo/competitive campaign.
As the Peninsular War consumes the homeland, Spain's once-mighty empire is in disarray and rebellion stirs in its colonies. When Seville fell to the French in 1810, many charts and records disappeared from the former archives of the Casa de Contratación, the heart of Spain's colonial empire and keeper of its imperial secrets. Among the documents that made their way into the hands of spymasters and fortune-hunters across Europe were files relating to the mythical El Dorado. Not all of the adventurers, mercenaries, and soldiers who seek it out are driven by greed, however – there are some more interested in the City of Gold's darker legends than its fabled wealth.
In this supplement for The Silver Bayonet, players will take their forces through a solo or competitive campaign that leads them across mountains, through jungle, and deep into the heart of South America in pursuit of El Dorado. Along the way, they must contend with mortal foes, monstrous creatures, and the perils of the land itself. If they can survive these dangers and piece together ancient clues, they may locate El Dorado and discover whether its treasures will bring salvation or damn them all…
