Overview
A new edition of the Nobel laureate’s brilliant and mournful sixth collection of poetry, which was awarded the Pulitzer Prize in 1993.
The Wild Iris is a collection of stunningly beautiful poems that encompasses the natural, human, and spiritual realms, and is bound together by the universal realities of time and mortality. With clarity and sureness of craft, Louise Glück’s poetry questions, explores, and finally celebrates the ordeal of being alive.
