Throughout decades, we see how the rise of neoliberalism cuts short every hope and project of the members of this family, whose testimony speaks of a time when landscapes and natural riches were forever transformed. However, one place still stands: between each city’s old quarters and other seaside towns—turned into vacation spots—is an orchard, bastion of a lifestyle threatened by the relentless advancement of bricks.
