Over the course of the seven weeks between Passover and Shavuot, Tomer and his grandfather practice the Jewish tradition of counting the omer while tending to their garden. Each week, they practice a different value: Chesed (lovingkindness), Gevurah (self-discipline), Tiferet (balance), Netzach (determination), Hod (gratitude), Yesod (connection), and Malkut (holiness). At the end of the process, the garden is transformed—and so is Tomer.
