Subjects are briefly covered in double-page spreads that may include simple science experiments, boxes with related facts, and cross-references to other topics. Unfortunately, space is often used for unnecessary clutter, like the Quiz Corners, where obvious questions are posed about the texts. Still, these are, for the most part, adequate introductions to the topics, with clear photos and colorful illustrations of powerful, fast vehicles (Traveling on Land) and smiling, healthy kids (My Amazing Body).
