Taka, un joven halcón peregrino, dejó su hogar para escapar de la guerra y ver el mundo. Antes de irse, ató una de las cintas rojas al árbol que era su hogar y otra a su pierna. Viajó por el mundo, experimentando muchas aventuras mientras crecía grande y fuerte. Un día, en una tormenta eléctrica, la cinta fue alcanzada por un rayo y Taka comenzó a sentir nostalgia. ENGLISH DESCRIPTION
Taka, a young peregrine falcon, left his home to escape the war and to see the world. Before leaving, he attached a one of a red ribbon to the tree that was his home and another to his leg. He traveled the world, experiencing many adventures while growing large and strong. One day, in a thunderstorm, the ribbon was struck by lightning, and Taka began to feel homesick. He began the long journey home and found the ribbon and his tree.
This story, with its watercolor illustrations, evokes a sense of longing for home and the contentment Taka experiences at the end of his journey.
