Witch Ween and the Hallo, however, is the first book to merge the history of Halloween, the timeless Renaissance paintings of Heironymous Bosch and the magic of witchcraft to confront one important idea: monsters do, indeed, live among us and we must see our world from a different perspective to stop them. In the Hallo lives the wicked Witch Ween, conjuror of evil spells and incantations. All his young life, poor Bosch the cowardly artist has heard rumors of this strange place, but now Ween has placed an evil spell on him and has removed his eyes from his face. To make things worse, she has kidnapped Adele Van Der Maggutseesen, the love of his life, and to get her back, Bosch must carry his eyes on a journey through the land of monsters into the heart of the Hallo, remembering two things:
