Dónde está Anne Frank es una historia de aprendizaje y aventuras en la que conocemos de primera mano a Kitty, la amiga imaginaria de Anne Frank. Ambientada entre el presente y el pasado, la trama comienza cuando un rayo cae sobre el Museo Anne Frank de Ámsterdam y rompe el cristal que protege el diario manuscrito.
Como por arte de magia, de su tinta cobra vida Kitty, quien no sabe que han transcurrido varias décadas desde la última vez que Anne le escribió ni dónde está su amiga. Desorientada, decide salir en busca de la verdad. Y al adentrarse en las calles de Ámsterdam va descubriendo no solo el destino de la familia Frank, sino las duras realidades que continúan conectando con la barbarie de entonces.

After the successful graphic novel The Diary of Anne Frank, film director Ari Folmanand illustrator Lena Guberman imagine their story from an original perspective in this new graphic novel, Where is Anne Frank?, which follows the homonymous movie.
“I don’t have the slightest idea when or how I came back to life. All I know is that there was a terrible storm that night...”
Where is Anne Frank? is a story about learning and adventure in which we meet Kitty, Anne Frank’s imaginary friend, first hand. Set in the past and present time, the plot begins when a lightning strikes over the Anne Frank Museum in Amsterdam, breaking the glass protecting her manuscript diary.
As if by magic, Kitty comes to life from its ink. She doesn’t know that several decades have gone by since the last time Anne wrote to her, or where her friend is. Disoriented, she decides to go out in search of the truth. Walking through the streets of Amsterdam, she doesn’t just find out the fate of the Frank family, but the harsh reality still connected with the brutality back then.
Apart from celebrating Anne Frank’s literary talent, it encourages us to keep listening to her incomparable voice, still relevant seventy-five years after the diary’s first publication.
